Your organisation must be able to demonstrate as many as possible of the following - (the order of these factors is not significant, no factor is more important than any other):
- That you have clear goals for your business in the future
- That you have a clear plan for growth
- That you have a vision of your place in your market
- How you market your products and services effectively
- How you look after your customers and how successful you are in that
- How you manage your business effectively
- How you develop and encourage your staff within your business
- Any unique selling point
- Any significant improvements in financial performance in the last year
- Any other recent achievements
- Any source of new business your business has obtained in the last year
- Your contribution to the local community by employment generation
- Your contribution to the local community by supporting or encouraging local initiatives or local people.
